French for Work
French for Work or for professional purposes is a course geared towards students at the intermediate or at least third year of French, who are interested in working in a Francophone country. Students will develop their vocabulary, business communication skills, and cultural knowledge to navigate Francophone job markets.
Course outline
A variety of elements can be added as needed, for example attending a business meeting or a professional fair in a French-speaking country, presenting a product, developing vocabulary around marketing and advertisement, etc.

- Decoding job announcements in French
- Writing a cover letter
- Creating a curriculum vitae
- Completing the job interview process
- Writing a follow-up letter
- Navigating written communication, such as make and cancel appointments, write a letter of complaint, etc.
